Exhibition Photography Matéria Solar

On the year of its 95th anniversary, Traço de Luz is proud to present the photography exhibition Matéria Solar. The work of designer and photographer Adão Moreira relies on the freedom to discover light and color in photography as a means of expression.

This summer you have an extra reason to visit us! Discover unique pieces created with freedom and plastic expressivity in photography.

All the exhibited works are available for sell.

You can visit us from Monday until Friday from 9:30 untill 19:00 and Saturday from 10:30 until 13:00 (Except in August).

Adão Moreira lives and works in Oporto.
In the latest years, he has been presenting and exposing some of his photos in several places and publications.
Loving the freedom and stylistic diversity, he is strongly influenced, in his color photos, by modern and contemporary painting, which goes against the contemplative and melancholic approach of his black and white work.
In these photos he affirms a more solar and joyful facet, with a marked experimentalist flavor, creating a visual poetic “narrative” that intentionally dilutes the border between photography and painting.

His approach enhances the interpretive freedom and plastic expressivity in detriment of the duplication of the reality and the technical formalism.
