Parentesi black

Parentesi is a pendant lamp that provided direct light. It has a fixed vertical boom and a cylindrical box with a slot for the light. The lamp moves vertically via sliding of a painted or nickel-plated shaped steel tube on a ceiling-to-floor steel cable.

Parentesi is a lamp with design by Achille Castiglioni and Pio Manzu. It won the Compasso d’Oro award in 1979.
